The Instrumentation and Measurement (IM) Italy Chapter, the IEEE Sensor Council and the IEEE Student Branch of Naples, in cooperation with IEEE Student Branch of Brescia and of Università Campus Bio-Medico di Roma, are proud to announce the MetroInd4.0&IoT 2019 IEEE Student Hackathon, which will be held during the 2019 IEEE International Workshop on Metrology for Industry 4.0 & IoT (MetroInd4.0&IoT), Naples, Italy, June 4-6, 2019.
The MetroInd4.0&IoT 2019 IEEE Student Hackathon aims to encourage the birth of new ideas and solutions for Industry and IoT fitting with the workshop topics. The Hackathon is open to all IEEE Student Members, that are invited to form teams from 3 to 5 people to address challenges that will be launched during the event. Teams will work with hardware and software tools, provided by technological partners, with the goal of transforming their innovative ideas into reality and of creating a working product by the end of the event. The Hackathon will take 36-hour, eating will be informal, like pizza and energy drinks. Also sleeping will be informal, with participants sleeping on-site. At the end of the Hackathon, teams will present their results by means a live demonstration or an oral presentation. The best solutions will be awarded. The Evaluation Committee will identify winners.
