Pavia, July 11 to 15, 2016, Palazzo Vistarino.
“The topic of the course deals with Hybrid Microgrids, that are energy systems for powering small to medium power consumers in island or connected to the grid. Such systems are important not only for the developing countries looking for higher level of electrification, but also for the industrialized one as engaged in the definition of future smart energy systems, powered by distributed sources. The course is addressed not only to doctoral students from Pavia (IEIE) or abroad, but to all researchers interested in the issues of energy in its aspects of components, systems and controls. Also professional and graduated students are welcome until full coverage.”
Subjects include interests in the field of electrical engineering, electronics and information and areas connected to them, or cover topics of relevance to the IEEE. This bond is strengthened by the involvement of the Student Branch who is in charge of the invitation of the IEEE Distinguished Lecturers. Besides, we have been granted with the cooperative sponsorship of IEEE Italy Section and by CMAEL (Associazione Italiana dei ricercatori in convertitori macchine ed azionamenti elettrici).
